What does your slogan mean?
GI takes pride in truly listening to your needs, seeing your vision, and converting it into a cohesive plan. This is accomplished in a relaxed, non-intimidating environment. We endeavor to make all our clients feel comfortable while providing outstanding professional interior decorating services.

Do you offer interior decorating services in other languages, as well as English?
Yes! GI has staff members who speak Spanish, French and Bosnian. We can provide friendly decorating services in several languages.

Is GI familiar with environmentally friendly (green) decorating?
GI is proud to offer eco/green decorating which will be customized to suit the needs of each client. Eco/Green interior decorating is the perfect choice for people concerned with products that negatively affect the environment, who have allergies/asthma, and those who want to live/work in clean and environmentally friendly spaces.

What types of renovation services are available?
GI is proud to offer 'Conception to Completion' Renovations for part or whole home renovations! The process begins with an initial consultation to determine the vision, scope, and budget of the project. We can turn your current dated space into a stylish and contemporary solution that is right for you whether it be a kitchen, powder room, or bed room.

Will a kitchen renovation add value to my home?
Absolutely! Although one must be mindful of not over-spending on any renovation when considering re-sale. This does not apply if you are planning on living in your home for a very long time.

What is Feng Shui?
Feng Shui is an ancient Chinese art of orienting objects and towns to promote a healthy flow of chi, or energy. Its postulate is that all areas, large and small, have a distinctive energy that is guidable by rearranging objects (eg, removing an ornament from an apartment, or adding one to a particular corner of a room). To be avoided is: clutter, dark corners, gloomy colours, low ceilings, and sharp, pointed objects.

Does balance mean everything must be equal?
No! If something in a room is not centered, add visual weight on the opposing side with artwork, accessories, or an object with similar height as its opposite.

Are dried flowers good to have in a room?
In Feng Shui, dried, dead flowers are a huge energy drain. By removing and discarding them you help to increase your potential and well-being.

To enjoy Feng Shui do I need to be a minimalist?
Many people believe that in order to have good energy, you need to live in an almost sterile environment. Contrary to that, your space should be warm, inviting, and uncluttered.

How do you define clutter?
What may be clutter for you is not necessarily clutter for someone else. Whatever you do not use, love, and need is how we often define clutter. Also, things that are broken and you have no intention of fixing fit into the clutter category.
